• Grant Amount: $1,000 per recipient (1 person selected)

• Purpose: Financial assistance to Ewha Illinois alumni graduate students accepted to academic conferences.

• Application & Review Process:  

  1. Application Deadline: July 31, 2026

  2. Review & Selection: August 2026

  3. Notification & Award: September 2026

• Eligibility: 

• 1. EIL Membership: Applicants must be registered as EIL regular members and have paid the membership fee ($30) at the time of application.

  2. Must be an Ewha alumna, currently enrolled full-time in a graduate degree program at a university in Illinois.

  3. Only applicants with confirmed conference acceptance may apply (supporting documents required). All conferences that have already been attended in the first half of the year or are confirmed to be attended in the second half are eligible for application. 

  4. Cannot be awarded while enrolled in the same graduate program at the same university (Note: One grant each at the Master’s and PhD level allowed, even at the same institution. The award cannot be received by same person for two years in a row).

• Required Documents:

  1. Application Form

  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  3. Proof of Conference Acceptance (notification email, registration, etc.)

  4. Additional supporting documents, if applicable (graduation certificate, scholarships/fellowships currently received). 

• 지원 금액: $1,000 (1명 선정)

• 대상: 2026년 학술대회 발표가 확정된 일리노이 소재 대학원에 재학 중인 이화 동창

• 신청 및 심사 절차:

• 1. 신청 마감: 2026년 7월 31일

  2. 심사 및 선정: 2025년 8월

  3. 통보 및 시상식: 2025년 9월

• 지원 자격:

• 1. 이화여자대학교 총동창회 일리노이 지회(EIL) 정회원: 신청 시 정회원 등록 및 회비($30) 납부 완료

  2. 이화여자대학교 졸업생으로, 2026년 현재 일리노이 주 소재 대학의 정규 대학원 과정에 재학 중이어야 합니다.

  3. 2025년 개최 학술대회 발표 확정된 지원자만 신청 가능하며, 이에 대한 증빙 서류를 제출해야 합니다. 미국 내 혹은 인터내셔널 학회 모두 해당됩니다. 2026년 상반기에 이미 참석하였거나 하반기에 참석이 확정된 학회 모두 지원 가능합니다. 

  4. 동일 대학, 동일 대학원 과정 재학 중에는 한 번만 수혜 가능합니다. (동일 대학이더라도 석사 및 박사 과정 각각 1회 수혜 가능. 단, 다른 학위 과정일지라도 2년 연속 수혜 불가)

  3. 학술대회 발표 참가 증빙 (통지 이메일, 등록 확인 등)

  4. 기타 증빙 서류 (해당하는 경우: 졸업 증명서, 현재 수혜 중인 장학금/펠로우십 내역 등)
